Educational psychologists are trained professionals who help students overcome mental, physical, emotional and social difficulties that prevent them from participating in academic and non-academic activities at school. The duties include psychological tests, theories and procedures recommending, developing and administering appropriate therapies and strategies, carrying out psychological assessments to uncover a child’s problem, writing reports, conducting research, providing training, advising and liaising with parents, teachers and other professionals and advising and making recommendations on educational policies.
