Radiographers are medical professionals that conduct diagnostic imaging on a patient’s body, to help the referring doctors to have a better idea of what is wrong with a patient. Radiographers not only do x-rays, but also different types of medical imaging, such as mammograms, CT or MRI scans. On a daily basis, they receive the patients that are sent to them by their doctor requesting imaging. Radiologists work with medical imaging machines and instruments and are thus responsible for using of the correct parameters, especially when doing x-rays. Also, they set the instruments to the specific height and position needed for the requested image.
