“My metallurgical responsibilities include having to look after all the sampling plants which are very important to Namdeb operations because they have a direct impact on the mine planning requirements for our largest mining operation which is Southern Coastal Mines,” – Luciano Andreas. Andreas’ day to day responsibilities include ensuring that the sampling plant operational and security procedures are well documented and reviewed as per requirement, compiling metallurgical plant quality reports and reviewing reports as part of providing assurance to peers that plants operate within the set metallurgical standards.
